This is a transcription for four guitars of Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in D major from the Sonata for Lute, Strings, and Continuo RV 93. The first guitar part is the solo guitar part that traditionally is accompanied by string orchestra. The other three guitars play a transcribed version of the original string parts.
This edition is designed for concert performance as well as for classroom instruction. The score is presented with amply notated guitar fingerings for each of the four parts.
